Fraternity Lodge No. 54

Free and Accepted Masons
Washington, DC

Christopher Trueblood, PM, Master
Walter Hoenes , PM, Secretary

Chartered January 25, 2001

Fraternity Lodge is a Masonic Lodge in the District of Columbia.

We are an affinity lodge, gathering Master Masons who share the common experience of brotherhood in the college or university Greek-letter fraternity tradition.

Most Greek-letter fraternities have at their roots a Masonic influence. Many fraternities were founded by Brother Freemasons. The rituals and ceremonies of these fraternities are often based, to some extent, on those of the Blue Lodge, Royal Arch, Knights Templar, or Scottish Rite degrees. Phi Beta Kappa, the first Greek-Letter Fraternity, names among its founders several Freemasons.

The Master and Brothers of Fraternity Lodge No. 54, extend their sincere congratulations to WBros. Harry Echols, PM, and Walter Hoenes, PM, recipients of the Valentine Reintzel Medal for Meritorious Service at the 2007 Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge.

Fraternity Lodge No. 54

Fraternity Lodge was founded to provide the brothers of these Greek-Letter fraternities the opportunity to seek further light into the Masonic roots of their college fraternities, and to enjoy a broader fraternity with fellow Master Masons.

The Lodge communicates quarterly, to dispense business and celebrate a Festive Board in the District of Columbia.

Fraternity Lodge is a constituent lodge of the Grand Lodge, F.A.A.M., of the District of Columbia.
